| Thanks to the involvement of Emeri Royuela and Tony Mahoney it will be possible to run a trip to the Pyrenees again this year for the above dates. Places are limited to 24 in total and applications will be dealt with in keeping with existing CBMW traditions by giving priority to Leaders and those involved in the group’s organisation and for any remaining places on a first come first served basis. Ralph Phipps is willing to be the primary leader during the week but 2 additional leaders are required to ensure the smooth running of the week by developing and leading routes. These leaders (and their partners) will be guaranteed a place on the trip. If no leaders step forward then the trip will not go ahead. Please confirm if you are able to help with this. The intended grade for the walks will be MS but some days may be slightly higher or lower than this target. It MAY be possible to offer 2 walks of slightly differing grade on each day but this will only be confirmed nearer the time. The price at the 4 star Hotel Yomo Patagonia in Arinsal (https://www.yomohotels.com/hotel/patagonia) will be €70 per double room per night for half board with both buffet breakfast and dinner included. We have not used this hotel before. If you would like to attend then in the first instance please email no later than 23rd April to:- “trips@cbmwalkers.org” for further details of how to pay your deposit. Messages via other platforms will not be sufficient! Your attendance cannot be confirmed until your deposit has been received. The hotel requires payment of a 30% deposit, and payment of the balance no later than 30 days before arrival. In the event of you having to cancel then you should regard these payment as non-refundable. Initially you will receive confirmation of your application and at some later point a request to send your deposit which will need to be received no later than 23rd April. |
