We will then have our final lunch at this lovely restaurant, so please make sure you book early to avoid disappointment. Bring your swimming costume and towel, there’s a lovely pool. As usual there will a selection of three walks to choose from, all starting from the restaurant, to help you develop an appetite for lunch. The easy walk will start at 10.15 am. The other 2 walks will start at 10.00 am
Easy – Fergus and Joan Fitzpatrick. A circuit taking in the windmills, then cutting across the Plana and down to the Torre de Gerro, and back to the restaurant. 7km, 80m, 2 hours. Great coastal views.
Moderate – David Harbach. Lighthouse circuit of La Plana- 11km – 200m, 2.5 hours. A delightful coastal walk with some fine views. Our route takes us to the windmills, down to the port, then along La Plana, and back to the restaurant.
Moderately Strenuous – Martin Dunkley. Eye of Montgo – 7KM, 450m, 2.5 hours.
Some scrambling and rough ground. This is a largely linear walk with a slightly different route on return, a challenging climb involving scrambling and rough ground up to the elephant’s eye of Montgo. Fantastic views.
