Membership

  • How do I become a member?
    • You can join by completing the membership form on our website and paying the annual fee.
  • What are the benefits of membership?
    • Members enjoy priority booking for walks, access to members-only events, and receive regular updates.
  • How much does membership cost?
    • The annual membership fee is 3 Euros.
  • How do I renew my membership?
    • You can renew your membership online through your member account or by contacting our membership secretary.

Walks

  • How do I find upcoming walks?
    • Check our walks programme for a full list of scheduled walks.
  • What should I bring on a walk?
    • We recommend sturdy walking shoes, water, snacks, sunscreen, a hat, and appropriate clothing for the weather.
  • How difficult are the walks?
    • We offer walks of varying difficulty levels, from easy strolls to challenging mountain hikes. Each walk description includes details about the difficulty, distance, and elevation gain.
  • Are dogs allowed on walks?
    • Please check the specific walk description. Some walks allow dogs on leads, others do not.
  • What happens if the weather is bad?
    • We may cancel or postpone walks due to inclement weather. Please check the Stop Press section of the website, or contact the walk leader for updates.

Safety

  • What safety precautions should I take?
    • Always follow the walk leader’s instructions, stay on marked trails, and be aware of your surroundings. Bring a mobile phone and inform someone of your route.
  • What should I do in an emergency?
    • Contact the emergency services (112) immediately. Inform the walk leader and other members of your group.
  • What are the dangers of wildfires?
    • During the summer months, wildfires are a risk. Please be aware of fire restrictions and follow safety guidelines. Do not smoke or light fires during periods of high risk.
