Due to fallen trees, parts of the original route are impassable. The walk will now be a morning circuit and will start at the Ermita de San Juan de la Cometa (a couple of km outside Calpe) at 10.00am. It’s best to use google maps if you are not sure where to go.Stats are now 6km 200m asc and approx 2 hours walking time..Although graded M due to the stats there are a couple of short steepish sections, plus a bit of a jungle hike as we weave our way through some of the fallen trees…wearing shorts is at your own risk.! Its a little walked area and there are stunning views to the coast and to the mountains so I do hope some of you will be joining me.

While average summer temperatures in our region are too high for our regular, long walks, that doesn’t stop us from organizing a special summer programme.

Have an idea for a summer activity?
This message is an invitation to everyone to submit a proposal for an activity that you -with or without the help of others- could organize, to help the Secretariat to put together a summer programme for the months of June through September.
